Kiana & Mason had a breathtakingly beautiful location for their session and I am still swooning over their images. We met as soon as the Gardens opened in the morning and chatted while we took in all the gorgeous greenery and florals. I love how Mason looks at Kiana throughout this whole session. They are getting married March of next year.
What do pink donuts and pink floweres have in common? Kiana & Mason’s love story! They matched on tinder and chatted a few times but the conversation had tapered off until 2021. On Valentine’s Day, Kiana’s job at a local donut shop was putting out specialty donuts and she was posting about it on social media. The donuts caught Mason’s attention and he reached out about them. And this time, the coversation didnt taper off. Mason planned a day trip to the Washington DC Cherry Blossom Festival with Kiana and her two cousins. They even color coordinated outfits for some nice photos down at the Tidal Basin with the blossoms. While they were there, Mason got down on one knee and proposed to her. They plan to get married during Cherry Blossom season again and they will have a Cherry Blossom theme all throughout their wedding next year.
