Katie & John’s wedding day was a gorgeous early spring day with a crisp breeze and warm sun. Katie & John got married at their church and the school Katie teaches at, Ocean View Christian Academy. They had so many friends and family come and support them for their day. Their wedding party was a top notch hype squad! Katies girls totally pampered her while getting ready and Johns boys cheered for him all day! After a wonderful ceremony their friends and family showered them with petals before departing to their reception venue, The Crown Plaza.
Their reception kicked off with their first dance and prayer before dinner. After dinner they had so many heartfelt speeches and toasts by friends and family, cut their cake, played the shoe game, danced with their parents and opened the dance floor. All while some of their friends and family were sneaking out to the front of the hotel to “prepare the vehicle for Send Off”. And by that they meant covering it with Post It notes, filling it to the ceiling with balloons and wrapping it in industrial grade plastic wrap! I was living for it, youll have to scroll to the end to see one of the most epic send offs I’ve had!
