A Lush Spring Manor Wedding in Orange, VA

~ Lindsey & Andrei | Wedding ~

Greenock Manor | Orange, Virginia | May 22, 2025

Lindsey & Andrei got married back in May, and what a joyous day it was! It was truly a breathtakingly beautiful wedding day. Lindsey thought of so many little details, and curated the perfect spring wedding! I was truly touched by how sentimental and heartfelt the entire day was. They both handwrote letters to each other and they were full top to bottom letters. Lindsey also wrote a letter to her parents, which they read after their first looks. Yes, looks. Before Lindsey went in to do a first look with her dad, her mom surpised him with a first look of their own. It was so sweet to see a couple that has been married for so many years light up with emotion when they see each other.

Some of Andrei’s family traveled a very far distance to attend and some only spoke Russian. I think it is so cool getting to meet and experience people from other countries and cultures! It’s truly beautiful how they all blended together as one large family that day. If you dont remember their love story, it was a testimony moment. Lindsey had asked for God to send her a gentleman that loved Him and would bring flowers for her on their first date! ENJOY scrolling through all the highlights and quiet moments below!

A Beautiful Spring Waterside Wedding in Norfolk, VA

~ Brittney & David | Wedding ~

The Harbor Club | Norfolk, Virginia | May 10, 2025

Brittney & David (Acner) had a beautiful wedding day at the Harbor Club at Waterside District in Norfolk, VA. David is from Honduras and unfortunately, most of his family are still living there and were unable to attend the wedding, but David’s friends and State-side family made sure he felt celebrated and supported. Brittney’s friends and family all came in from out of town and brought the party! They had a beautiful, warm spring day with gorgeous sun. Their dusty blues and creme colors were absoultely stunning for the day, and they had a gorgeous view of the harbor from their ceremony site.

Brittney did a first look with her dad, uncle, brother and son, Leo. Leo was the CUTEST Ring Bearer EVER! They passed out Jello Shots before the wedding party walked the aisle and that was just the kick off of their party. David beamed at Brittney as she and her dad walked down the aisle. After they exchanged their vows and their rings, Brittney, David, and I ventured around Waterside District for portraits and I am OBSESSED with how gorgeous these came out!

The reception was truly a blast! They shared their first dance, we had a delicious dinner, and the dance floor was open! Guests partied HARD and danced the night away! I LOVED that after cake cutting, not oly were desserts available, but “drunk snacks” like chicken & cheeseburger sliders and pizza were out for the guests to enjoy as well. Before departing and walking the aisle for their sparkler send off, they took a few minutes and danced to a slow song, all by themselves.

A Cute & Casual Engagement Session at Pleasure House Point – Virginia Beach,VA

~ Clarissa & Santes | Engaged ~

Pleasure House Point | Virginia Beach, Virginia Beach | May 20, 2025

Clarissa & Santes have never had photos taken together before and we couldnt have had a more perfect morning for it. We managed to beat the heat and enjoy the beautiful morning around Pleasure House Point. I LOVED Clarissa’s Top, it was so cute and the way Santes looked at her says it all! They are getting married in October this year and I cannot wait to see their wedding vision come to life.

These two met while both of them were worrking. Clarissa works at a preschool, and one day Santes was working at the preschool doing the landscaping work. It was still hot outside and Clarissa felt bad that he was working out in the heat. She decided to take him some water to drink and they hit it off! They both had never been in love before but they just knew they were perefect for each other. Santes proposed 6 months after their first date on a cozy day in on Saturday. They spent the day cuddled up watching movies and before Clarissa went to leave, he stopped her and was on one knee!

A Botanical and Beachy Engagement Session in Norfolk and Virginia Beach, VA

~ Tracy & Michael | Engaged ~

Norfolk Botanical Gardens | Norfolk, Virginia & First Landing State Park | Virginia Beach, Virginia
| May 3, 2025 |

Tracy and Michael are so adorable! They are having 2 wedding ceremonies this October! They are honoring Tracy’s Chinese culture and having a traditional Tea Ceremony and then a few days later they are having a small brunch wedding aboard the Spirit of Norfolk! We had a great time wandering through the botanical gardens and strolling on the beach. I loved their energy and how they always seemed to make each other laugh.

Tracy and Michael met in the spring of 2008 at work. They connected over anime and started as friends, drifted apart for a little, but they eventually found their way back to each other as friends again. Their friendship became more when Michael asked Tracy out after they went to see a showing of Warm Bodies in 2013.  Their first date and first kiss was at the Macaroni Grill.  They are each other’s best friend, connecting over a shared love of cats, fantasy, Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars.  Michael introduced Tracy to Magic: The Gathering, Pathfinder, and D&D.  Tracy introduced Michael to going on cruises, Dune, and a bunch of interesting movies and shows she keeps borrowing from the library.

After 10 years of dating and adventures together, Michael finally popped the question after their anniversary brunch at the Sweetwater Cuisine. Michael was trying to find the “right” moment to propose.  It wasn’t until they got back to his truck, and he was so nervous, he could not get the question out and could only open the ring box.  Tracy was surprised, could not get her answer out, but answered with a kiss! How cute!?
