A Golden Dreamy Late Summer Wedding in Virginia Beach, VA

~ Brittany & Josh | Wedding ~

Baja Restaurant – Sandbridge Beach | Virginia Beach, Virginia | September 13, 2025

Brittany & Josh got married this past September during the dreamiest golden hour! They were surrounded by their Sorority Sisters, Fraternity Brothers, family and closest friends. Brittany is an art teacher and Josh builds houses, and their personalities shown so brightly during their day, but not as brightly as the love they had for each other. They were BEAMING at each other the entire night. Brittany was stunning in her beautiful dress and Josh and his friends were the comedic relief the entire day. Brittany had a first look with all her bridesmaids while Josh’s best man made sure Josh was aisle ready.

Once at the venue, the wedding party made sure to keep Josh away from Brittany to ensure he didnt see her until the aisle. They shared beautiful vows in front of the sunset near the tall grass. Then they shared their first dance in front of pink skies. Brittany and her dad shared a sweet dance together while Josh and his mom shared a fun, entertaining choreographed dance together. Baja made us all a DELICIOUS dinner and then the dance floor opened. They had a very fun and lively reception, the entire guest list was dancing out on the dance floor! It’s not every wedding where I see all the seats empty and all the people up dancing. Instead of cutting a cake, they cut a giant cookie before running through their bubble send off.

A Traditional Wedding & Party By The Ocean in Norfolk & Virginia Beach, VA

~ Kathleen & Mike | Wedding ~

First Lutheran Church | Norfolk, Virginia | Sandbridge Oceanfront | Virginia Beach, Virginia | September 13, 2025

Kathleen & Mike met in college out in Oklahoma a few years ago. Kathleen joined the US Coast Guard and it brought them here to Virginia Beach. They had a beautiful traditional Lutheran Wedding ceremony at their home church, First Lutheran, in Norfolk, Virginia. Kathleen had BEAUTIFUL and dainty details, including a rosary that Mike had bought for her. She also made a STUNNING stained glass window for her and Mike’s home.

The two of them had a private first look outside the front of their church before the ceremony started, Their ceremony was intimate and they shared emotional vows. had their first communion as a married couple and then participated in serving their guests communion as well. They had beautiful readings of scripture from their loved ones as well as a song. They concluded their ceremony with a traditional US Coast Guard sword arch send off including a tap on the butt for the Groom.

Everyone then hopped in their cars and traveled down to Sandbridge Beach, where they continued on with their beautiful day. Everyone grazed on snacks and drinks while all the guests started to arrive. They kicked off their reception with their parent dances and then their first dance in the dunes. They then concluded with prayer and went inside to cut the cake – Coast Guard style, with Kathleens sword. Mike handmade all of the wedding favor wax melts too! Everyone gathered for dinner and then changed into their bathing suits. Most of their families were from the mid west so they all decided to spend the rest of the day hanging out with each other by the ocean.

A Bright and Beautiful Summer Manor Wedding in Orange, VA

~ Mindy & Brian | Wedding ~

Greenock Manor | Orange, Virginia | August 30, 2025

I am so excited to bring back the blog with this colorful wedding of Mindy & Brian. Mindy & Brian had been together for 10 years and have a few children together, Mindy was over the moon when Brian asked her to finally tie the knot. You can see Mindy’s bright and sweet personality shine through all of her gorgeous colors and details. Brain and the boys started the day tailgating and watching the game while they waited for Mindy & the girls to get ready. Mindy did a first look with her grandma that was such a tender moment between the two of them on the top floor of Greenock’s victorian style home. These two love birds shared tears and smiles as they gazed at each other during their vows. And even planted a unity tree to mark their journey together. After the ceremony concluded they had a lovely cocktail hour where their guests enjoyed signature cocktails and snacks.

They had heartfelt speeches from their family and best friends, including a sweet speech from Mindy’s mom with a tribute to Mindy’s late father. They even shared a Mother/Daughter dance. Mindy & Brian threw a FUN reception as they were constantly on the dance floor, throwing it back with each other, their kids and their besties. The evening concluded with a magical sparkler send off before running off to the Bridal Suite for the rest of the night.

A Lush Spring Manor Wedding in Orange, VA

~ Lindsey & Andrei | Wedding ~

Greenock Manor | Orange, Virginia | May 22, 2025

Lindsey & Andrei got married back in May, and what a joyous day it was! It was truly a breathtakingly beautiful wedding day. Lindsey thought of so many little details, and curated the perfect spring wedding! I was truly touched by how sentimental and heartfelt the entire day was. They both handwrote letters to each other and they were full top to bottom letters. Lindsey also wrote a letter to her parents, which they read after their first looks. Yes, looks. Before Lindsey went in to do a first look with her dad, her mom surpised him with a first look of their own. It was so sweet to see a couple that has been married for so many years light up with emotion when they see each other.

Some of Andrei’s family traveled a very far distance to attend and some only spoke Russian. I think it is so cool getting to meet and experience people from other countries and cultures! It’s truly beautiful how they all blended together as one large family that day. If you dont remember their love story, it was a testimony moment. Lindsey had asked for God to send her a gentleman that loved Him and would bring flowers for her on their first date! ENJOY scrolling through all the highlights and quiet moments below!
